Tree Trimming Contractors Working on Lane-Scott Lines                    

Lane-Scott Electric has contracted a tree-trimming service to clear the right of way and obstructed primary overhead lines in the corridor from Ransom to McCracken; McCracken to Bazine; Bazine to Ness City; and Ness City to Ransom.

Tree trimming near power lines helps with electricity reliability. Tree branches can easily interfere with power lines causing outages and lights to flicker. It is important our linemen can get to and work on power lines with ease.

Remember when planting trees, consider their mature height. Find the right tree for the right place. Trees with a mature height of 25 feet or higher should be planted no less than 20 feet from a power line.
