The Lane-Scott Electric newsletter as featured in the center of the Kansas Country Living Magazine contains local electric co-op information. The March contains Manager Article, "A Balanced Team for Reliability" about the importance of having a balanced mixed of fuel sources, the annual Lane-Scott 2023 Outage Information, 2022 average prices for residential electricity across the U.S., farming and electrical safety article "As U.S. Farmers Feed the World, We Remind Them About Electrical Safety", with a reminder to contact LSEC with overhead line clearance issues, and lastly 3 Ways to Help Limit Tree Trimming with tree planting near electrical guidelines.
February 2024 Newsletter
The Lane-Scott Electric February newsletter includes Manager's Article - Knowledge is Power, announcing a cost-of-service study at Lane-Scott. Other announcements include our Pay Ahead Power Program, that gives members the opportunity to take more control over their electric account; the 2024 Continuing Education Scholarship application period is open until April 1 for high school seniors or those already continuing their education; and the 2024 Low-Income Energy Assistance Program, administered through the Department for Children and Families, application period is until March 29.
