The Lane-Scott Electric February newsletter includes Manager's Article - Knowledge is Power, announcing a cost-of-service study at Lane-Scott. Other announcements include our Pay Ahead Power Program, that gives members the opportunity to take more control over their electric account; the 2024 Continuing Education Scholarship application period is open until April 1 for high school seniors or those already continuing their education; and the 2024 Low-Income Energy Assistance Program, administered through the Department for Children and Families, application period is until March 29. The Lane-Scott Electric newsletter as featured in the center of the Kansas Country Living Magazine contatins local electric co-op information. The first month of 2024 features Manager's Article - Reliable Power for Today and Tomorrow, and article Beginner's Guide to the Electric Grid, which is a cliff notes explanation of how electricity gets to you. Also included is the 2024 Sharing Success Grant Program application period announcement for this year's four $1,000 grants, and announcement of a new look coming to our SmartHub web and app account management software. If you have a high school sophomore or junior in your household, make sure to check out the Cooperative Youth Tour and Cooperative Leadership Camp opportunities Lane-Scott will be sponsoring!

The December Lane-Scott Electric Newsletter is full-on Holiday Season! Read the Manager's article, 'Tis the Season of Giving at Lane-Scott Electric, to find out what Lane-Scott is giving to our members this holiday season. You can once again "Give the Gift of Electricity" by purchasing electricity for a Lane-Scott Electric member. Or, if you are feeling charitable, you can donate to a general fund that Lane-Scott will credit to the electric account of a member in need. We are excited to announce we will again be sponsoring Sophomores & Juniors in high school to attend the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour and Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp in 2024! Also included is article, "3 Tips for Integrating Smart Home Tech", and the announcement of our Electrical Safety & Overhead Line Demo for first responders.
