Wednesday | May 24, 2023
All News

Lane-Scott Electric had the opportunity to present to elementary school kids during the Lane County Farm Bureau Safety Day. Safety Coordinator Chris Terhune, Line Superintendent Kasey Jenkinson, and Apprentice Lineman Dellon Shelton demonstrated what happens when contact is made with overhead lines, what to do in a vehicle if an accident happens with a downed line, the importance of GFCI switched and what type of materials conduct electricity. They also shared a little about the job of a lineman.
