Lane-Scott Electric paid nearly $900,000 in property taxes in 2020. An increase of $61,042 from taxes paid last year. Our property tax payment is inclusive of all equipment, facilities, and land in each county. You can see in the chart below how much is paid per county.

We show you this information because as a cooperative, one of our principles is transparency to our members. A fair portion of your monthly bill goes to pay property taxes, which in turn supports the community’s schools, roads, and jobs.
