Randall (Randy) G. Evans (incumbent trustee) was elected to the Lane-Scott Electric Board of Trustees in 2020 as one of the three trustees who represent the Lane and Gove District. Randy was born and raised in western Kansas attending schools in Scott County, Healy High School and Garden City Junior College. After being in management for fifteen years with City Market in western Colorado, he decided to go into business for himself as an independent business owner with the Amway opportunity. People skills, personal development and success principles were skills he learned and duplicated. Additional business endeavors currently include a fruit distribution business from Colorado, a small grocery store, and rental house properties, all located in Dighton.
He is married to Marla, who owns and operates Changes Salon in Dighton. They have three grown and married children and ten grandchildren. Randy has served on various community boards including the Chamber of Commerce, church, businesses, school, and of course Lane-Scott Electric Cooperative. He values living in a free country where Christian values and patriotism can be exercised in every area of life.
