Low Income Energy Assistance Program

The Kansas Department for Children and Families is now accepting applications for their 2026 Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP).

The application deadline is March 31, 2026 at 5 p.m. Go directly to the DCF webpage for more information and to apply.

Lane-Scott Electric is once again offering grants to help our local community organizations complete their projects that will in return help our members and communities!

Lane-Scott Electric Accepting Continuing Education Scholarship Applications

Lane-Scott Electric is accepting applications from current high school graduates and students already attending a higher education program. There are six $1,500 scholarships available for the 2026-2027 school year. The application deadline is March 27.

When Mother Nature strikes this winter, make sure you're ready. Hundreds of Americans are injured or killed in the winter months due to car accidents on slippery roads and in home fires caused by improper use of heaters. In addition, winter storms increase the risk of hypothermia, frostbite, carbon monoxide poisoning, and heart attacks due to overexertion.
